In a recent blog I talked about “floating potentials” as a way to suggest ideas to others. But we can also float potentials in order to manifest things that we need for ourselves.
For example, a couple of months ago, I was walking my dogs on our country road and noticed a lot of litter on the roadside. I tried to pick up some of it, but gave up quickly because there was so much, and I had not thought to bring a bag. Then I thought perhaps I could manifest a bag. So I imagined a white plastic bag with handles lying on the side of the road, and floated that idea with love and trust gently out into the universe to gather energy. Then I forgot about it and continued my walk.
At the end of the road where I usually turn around, there, on the side of the road, was a white plastic bag with handles. I picked it up and marveled. I was exactly what I had envisioned! As I headed home, I was able to gather all the litter I had passed going the other way. The bag was just the right size with not an inch to spare.
Then yesterday I was cleaning the spare room for weekend guests, when I decided I needed a small bedside table for a lamp. So I imagined just the kind of table I wanted and floated that potential. I knew the table I had in mind would probably only be found at an antique store, so I got in the car and went directly to the only antique store in our small town. And there, on the second floor, right in front of the stairs, was the exact table I had imagined, at a price I could afford.
I trust that the potentials I float will manifest if they are in my best interest and in the best interest of the rest of the universe. Then I don’t have to worry about messing up anybody or anything. If they don’t manifest, then there is something else going on that I am not aware of, and the fact that they didn’t manifest is probably for the best. It could mean that there would be unintended consequences, or it could mean that there is something better out there that I haven’t thought of yet.
When these things happen we often just think it’s coincidence. But don’t discount these magical experiences when they happen. You are probably more proficient than you know.
Manifestation is a co-creative process between you and your soul, and the energy at It’s command. Trust yourself and the process, and then experience the magic.
