It is extremely difficult not to be overwhelmed by the chaos and dysfunction we are currently experiencing in the physical realm. The problems seem overwhelming, not just because they are complex but because there are so many of them. It is easy to be skeptical, give up or believe there is nothing we can do.
But there IS something we can do. We must never underestimate our human ability to solve problems.
Remember that when physical systems break down, they unleash previously tied-up energy that can now be used to create anew. And there are all sorts of ways to put that energy to good use. We CAN change things for the better.
Remember also, that change is scary to many people, even if what we see around us is terrible. To many, resistance to change is still better than going into an unknown and untried future. Be gentle with those who prefer the status quo.
On the physical plain, it is important for those who are called, to run for office, join activist groups, speak out, protest, and above all vote. These physical actions help build energy around change and that energy radiates out and affects a whole universe of people who are not yet active, or who may never be active but who join you in spirit and lend energy to achieving your goal.
But if you can’t, or are not called to do those things, you can still have tremendous impact.
Physical change begins in the energy realm. Energy creates the blueprint around which the physical takes shape. This means that before any significant change can happen in the physical world, the conceptual idea for that change needs to bubble up from many minds and join together to form the energetic blueprint. The more energy around the idea, the easier it is for those in a position to make change in the physical world, to reach up, grab the idea and bring it to manifestation.
From your armchair, desk, garden or even from your bed, you can be an important part of creating this blueprint.
As bad as all the news seems to be, it has one very hopeful pattern. Corruption, lying, cheating, bullying, mean-spiritedness, tax evasion, inequality, selfishness, greed and lack of compassion are being exposed for all to see, not just in the political and corporate world, but in the system as a whole.
Trump may be a symbol of all these things, but his participation is not what is important. Trump is the symptom, not the cause.
Before now, most of this behavior has been carefully concealed below the radar of most people. It is hard to form a blueprint for change, if few know there is a problem.
The current dysfunction in the US is bringing to light some important facts.
Even the best-intentioned congress people on both sides of the isle are soon corrupted by the need to constantly raise money.
Corporate welfare is a fact, and costs tax payers far more than helping the poor and disadvantaged.
Tax havens are tolerated by most countries because they benefit their elites. It is time for an international agreement to stop this practice and allow corporations and the wealthy to contribute their fair share to the common good.
Money laundering seems to go hand in glove with tax havens and shady business deals. It links the wealthy and elite with mobsters and international criminals. Maybe we should crack down on those who launder money rather than those who sell marijuana.
Even if we stop the flow of all immigrants into this country, the non-white population will still become a majority in a very short time. Our immigrant history is what made America great. Those who have the courage, resolve and determination to start again in a new environment are the kind of people who deliver the hard work and create the innovative discoveries that move our country forward. Unless we are Native American, we all came from immigrant backgrounds.
Universal health care is something all other developed countries take for granted. It would allow us the freedom to change jobs, start our own business, or take a sabbatical without worrying about loss of health insurance. It also frees us from bankruptcy or financial ruin because of an illness.
What kind of a nation do we want to live in? What kind of a world can we create that is sustainable, economically beneficial and respectful of all people and all cultures?
Dream large. The problems are right in front of us, exposed for all to see. Before we can fix them, we must see them. Before fixing them, we must dream solutions. When enough energy coalesces around a solution, it manifests in physical reality.
Imagine a scenario where the Mueller investigation unearths the inner workings of tax havens, international tax evasion, international money laundering, cyber theft, sex trafficking, vote manipulation, etc., etc., and people decide they’ve seen enough and need to stop it.
Dream of a time when politicians do not have to spend 70% of their time asking for money and are not seduced by those offering it. Imagine a system where those who are not billionaires can easily run for office.
Create a world where women, minorities, immigrants and the economically disadvantaged are celebrated for their unique gifts and offered an equal place at the table.
Think of solutions where compassion and connection are the overarching values, where humans begin to realize that in the energy realm, win-win is possible for everyone and we no longer have to be competitive or greedy in order to get our needs met.
Although cynicism, depression and anxiety are pervasive in today’s mass consciousness, we don’t have to buy into it. Instead, look at this time in our lives as a wonderful opportunity to create anew. We are ALL part of the solution, we can ALL participate. Whether we’re called to action, or called to dream, the more who join in, the faster solutions will manifest.
We can ALL dream!
