Because energy reality is different than physical reality, living multidimensionally means being open to seeing things differently than we have in the past.
This is especially important in today’s world where things are changing very fast, and the chaotic energy of mass consciousness is affecting us all. To make things even worse, as many of us wake up to the energy dimension, we also become more energy sensitive. We can feel the chaos, the pathos and the misery of others far more and far deeper than ever before. It hurts to watch the news and/or be around friends or family members who are in constant drama.
Living multi-dimensionally can be difficult due to this added energetic empathy. This is why it is important to learn how understand energy cycles so that we do not put situations or events into black and white boxes.
Energy moves in waves, and waves move in cycles. In the world of energy nothing is black or white, even though these absolute opposites seem so distinct in the physical world. In the world of energy there are natural cycles rather than absolutes. These cycles are normal and healthy, helping energy flow, move, connect and expand.
Some days, for example, my mood is high. I feel joyous and expansive. I move out into the world and share my contagiously exuberant energy with every one I meet and with everything I do. On other days, my mood is low. I feel depressed and sluggish. I hibernate and move slowly. But I know this is a time to refresh and replenish myself, to engage in self-reflection and quiet. One is not better than the other – both are needed.
When we see things from an energy perspective, it is easier to deal with the anxiety and worry that come from the problems and responsibilities of life in the physical realm. A period of relative abundance will naturally be followed by a time of relative ebb. But that will again be followed by an increased flow. And so it goes.
This principle operates on a larger scale as well. The “tragedy” of a newborn with a severe handicap can turn into the wonderful reunification of an extended family coming together to help. The excitement and joy of a college graduation then ebbs into the anxiety of unemployment, only to be followed eventually by the job of one’s dreams. A colicky baby grows into a happy child, and a truculent teenager becomes a responsible adult.
If you look back on your own life, you can probably remember many situations that first seemed tragic and horrible, which later turned out to be fortuitous. You can also probably recall other events that seemed wonderful or miraculous at the time, then later proved to have a definite downside.
In each ebb, we think the flow will never return, but just like the sun, it always does, . . . provided, of course, we see and understand it from the broader perspective of the energy realm.
